The Language Blueprint: Mastery from the Ground Up
is a focused professional learning experience that
supports 6-8 educators in effectively implementing
Georgia's English Language Arts Standards.
Participants will unpack the standards, strengthen
their understanding of the key components of literacy
instruction, and develop practical strategies that
promote student mastery from foundational skills
through complex language use. The course
emphasizes vertical alignment, explicit and systematic
instruction, and the use of formative data to guide
teaching decisions. By the end of the course,
participants will be equipped to design and deliver
cohesive ELA instruction that builds strong,
sustainable language proficiency from the ground up.
