all learners. Through practical examples and collaborative 
learning, educators will explore how to embed specially 
designed instruction, apply effective co-teaching models,

Participants will explore how purposeful co-teaching can 
maintain high expectations, ensure access to grade-level 
standards, and provide meaningful supports for diverse 
learners without compromising rigor. Emphasis is placed 
on shared instructional responsibility, evidence-based 
literacy practices, and the strategic use of specially 
designed instruction (SDI) to promote student

mathematical understanding. In this engaging and 
practical professional learning session, educators will 
explore research-based strategies to support struggling 
math students in kindergarten through second grade. 
Participants will deepen their understanding of early 
numeracy development, identify common misconceptions, 
and learn how to provide targeted, developmentally 
appropriate interventions. Educators will examine how to 
use formative assessment to identify learning gaps, 
differentiate instruction, and implement small-group and 
intervention strategies that accelerate growth.
