Feeling overwhelmed by the vast amount of data and
unsure where to start? Data protocols offer a
structured framework for developing strong, effective
Professional Learning Communities (PLCs). When
educators collaborate around meaningful data,
improvement becomes transformative - leading to
clearer instructional decisions and measurable results.
Grounded in the work of the Harvard Data Wise
Project and School Reform Initiative, this session
guides participants through the Data Wise
Improvement Process and demonstrates how to
organize PLCs for sustained success.

Behavior is not the only problem — it’s a signal of how
well our systems are working. Are inconsistent
expectations, increasing behavior needs, and staff
overwhelm impacting your school? This leadership-
focused session helps school and district leaders
strengthen Tier 1 by aligning schoolwide behavior
systems to improve climate, increase consistency, and
reduce reactive practices. Participants will examine
how proactive, clearly defined behavior systems
protect instructional time, reduce staff strain, and
strengthen student outcomes. The focus is on clarifying
adult practices, establishing predictable processes, and
building team structures that support consistent,
instructional responses.
Leaders will leave with:
- Usable, school-ready tools to strengthen Tier 1
behavior systems.
- Specific leadership moves that increase consistency
across classrooms.
-A focused 90-day implementation plan.

Ideal for leadership working to reduce discipline
referrals, strengthen Tier 1, and improve daily staff
experience without adding new initiatives.
